Annual testing of your back flow prevention devices is required by law under the QLD Plumbing and Drainage Act (see page 45)

Whether you have recently received your annual back flow prevention reminder from the Gold Coast Council, or you simply wish to keep your scheduled plumbing maintenance on track, our team of experts at DCM Plumbing and Drainage can assist you.

An important part of testing is to ensure the following…

  • it must be completed by a plumbing company who are registered with the QBCC to carry out back flow prevention testing
  • the plumbing company’s QBCC license is current – our QBCC license number is 1197459
  • the plumber sends the completed Form 9 to Gold Coast Council within 10 days of testing
